For the Child Sculpture

The sculpture was unveiled in Vienna, Austria which was dedicated to the children saved and their rescuers in 1938. The plaque expresses gratitude to Rabbi Solomon Schonfield who between 1938 and 1948 rescued thousands of Jews among them 4,000 children. Recently Our Sunday Visitor newspaper released the following results of Catholic Sacraments most meaningful to Catholics. Baptism is the most meaningful, Marriage next and then the Eucharist (Mass). The Sacraments least important are Confirmation, Reconciliation (Penance), Annointing of the sick and Holy orders.

Saudi Arabia’s Interfaith Conference

Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah plans to convene an Interfaith Conference that will include Muslims, Christians, and Jews. It would mark the first time Jews have been included in religious dialogue in Saudi Arabia.
