The News Media say that Pope Benedict XVI is reluctant to move forward toward the beatification of Pope Pius XII. The Vatican has not commented on the Media’s report. However, the name of Pope Pius XII was conspicuously absent from a list of decrees issued in December by the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
